Are Your Welcoming Your People In?

This week I shared part 1 of 3 of how to increase your engagement on social media.  

If you didn't see my post, tip number 1 was:

When you get a new follower, tell them "Hello" and Welcome them to your page!!

Sounds simple right? 

It is.....

But we all know simple doesn't mean easy.  It takes time and energy to engage.  

Let me tell you a quick story:

I grew up working in retail. 

My parents owned a Pharmacy with a gift shop inside in my small town.

I worked the register and my grandpa and parents instilled in me the importance of welcoming every customer when they came in. 

More often than not I would not only say "hello", but I would start a dialogue with the customers and truly engage in their needs for coming in.

When people take the time to choose you, the least you owe them is a "hello".  

It may be a different world online but the principle is the same!

Say hello. Be polite. Create a dialogue. 

Be the energy someone might need today! 

Implement this small change and watch your community grow!
